Shadow Tequila is a Black owned, Tennessee owned tequila brand founded by siblings Teddy and Tiara Jasper, born and raised in Memphis. The brand found a second home in Nashville, where it is now poured in bars and stocked in retailers across the metro. The tequila itself is crafted at Casa Maestri, NOM 1438, in Tequila, Jalisco. Crafted in Jalisco, embraced in Tennessee.
The lineup
Shadow produces three expressions, each made from 100% blue Weber agave, slow cooked in traditional brick ovens, and double distilled.
- Blanco: unaged, with the clean character of the agave front and center.
- Reposado: rested in oak for balance between agave and wood.
- Añejo: aged longer for a deeper, more layered profile.
Why Nashville
Nashville values presence and familiarity, and Shadow grew here the same way it grew in Memphis: through people asking for it where they gather. In the Nashville market, Shadow is distributed by Ajax Turner, and the brand is now stocked in more than 140 locations across Tennessee.
